Vision & Mission
Vision
Ensuring the delivery of desired services and gaining the confidence of the people by increasing the capacity to provide services through citizen involvement at all levels. To increase the amount of facilities provided by the municipality and improve the quality of service to improve the living standards of the citizens. At the same time to establish the municipality as an active and self-sufficient institution in order to develop the financial system of the municipality and make it a planned and environment friendly city.

 

Mission
 * In order to build a planned modern city, bus / truck terminals, roads, etc. will be constructed in the city in a planned manner under the land use plan formulation, transport and road communication management plan.
* Footpaths will be constructed including planting of trees and installation of adequate street lights for construction of infrastructure and beautification for recreational facilities in the municipal area.

* Development of drainage system for drainage of water in a planned manner. Installing deep tube wells and overhead tanks as required, iron and arsenic free water will be supplied through pipelines.
* Ensure the participation of municipal citizens and other stakeholders including women and poor representatives in all financial, administrative and municipal services of the municipality and this will be continued.

* In order to build a financially efficient and self-sufficient municipality, activities will be undertaken to establish e-governance including recruitment and training of manpower, management of administrative work in modern municipalities and exchange of information.

* Adoption of special projects for socio-economic development of people living below the poverty line.
